Welding

In addition to bending en rolling tubes and profiles we can also assemble these to produce finished products by using the following welding techniques:

MIG/MAG, TIG, Orbital and Manipulator welding.

Vogel has certified welders and we weld most common materials, including steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Aluminium is being used more widely and in increasingly varied products. We continue to train our staff in the latest techniques to ensure that we can provide our customers with innovative solutions. Because we understand the metallurgic aspects of the process we are able to retain constant production quality. We are members of the Dutch umbrella organisation for the aluminium industry “Aluminiumcentrum”.

Welding robot

A skilled welder is able to produce a level of quality, the welding robot is not yet able to achieve. However, the welding robot also has its advantages. Monotonous and labour intensive welding jobs are no problem for the robot. The robot can finish off the seam welding time after time accurately and consistently. Nothing beats a welding robot on large production runs. The unit cost price is also a factor when deciding whether or not to use the welding robot.

Orbital welding

With orbital welding a TIG welding torch revolves around the item following a pre-programmed   seam. This mechanised process is particularly suited to steel and stainless steel pipe work and connections between pipe and sheet metal heat exchangers. Orbital welding is the guarantee for reliable quality with minimum chance of welding mistakes and a high level of consistency.
