ISO TS 16949

In combination with ISO 9001: 2000, the technical specification for ISO/TS 16949:2009, describes the requirements for the quality assurance system for the design, development, production and where relevant, the installation and service of products supplied to car manufacturers. Combined with the customer’s specific requirements, these procedures enable us to meet all current requirements laid down in documents such as the QS9000 core tool series: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC. 

The ISO/TS 16949 contributes even more than ISO 9001:2008 to processes such as: 

  • Continuous improvement
  • Minimising process variation
  • Reducing waste
  • Taking corrective and preventative measures

The result: A better quality operation with which to serve our customers more efficiently and effectively.

The years of preparation and implementation were rewarded on 14 February 2011 when Lloyd’s acknowledged that Vogel’s quality assurance system meets all the requirements for
ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification.
